Val Zavodovsky had previously owned a coin laundry and sold the store in 2004. But when he decided he wanted to get back in the coin laundry business recently, he put his trust in IPSO and his local IPSO distributor — ASN Laundry Group in Bronx, NY. He's glad he did.
Val relied on ASN's professionals to find a suitable location with the right demographics. For this site, ASN looked outside-the-box and found a building that previously housed a tire shop.
"It definitely wasn't the typical site that we normally deal with, but we knew it would work well and the demographics of the area showed the laundry would be successful," said Alex Lepo, president of ASN.
IPSO assisted with layout and design of the laundry and supplied energy and water efficient commercial laundry equipment to help Val maximize his profits, while reducing expenses.
"Both ASN and IPSO were great to work with and I've been very pleased with how the IPSO equipment has performed," Val said.
An active owner since he opened the store, Val has been marketing his laundry through direct mail and other advertising to ensure it gets off to a solid start. He's also focused on giving his customers a wide range of offerings through a variety of washer and dryer capacities and drop-off service, as well as the convenience and safety of a card payment system.
