After five eventful and exciting days, IPSO looks back at a successful participation at this year´s edition of Gulfood in Dubai, held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 21 to 25 February.

IPSO was part of Alliance Laundry Systems’ corporate booth, a two-floor stand representing the company as being the world number 1 in commercial laundry. Rick Pyle, President of Alliance International, comments the company’s participation: “Gulfood acts as the world’s largest annual food and hospitality show, but also attracts a lot of our partners, investors and distributors at this show. On the surface the show is directed towards the foodservice industry, but if you look around, a lot of our competitors are present here and that’s because procurement managers look for kitchen and laundry equipment at the same time. Especially decision makers responsible for a new property looking to launch in the market.”

IPSO was also represented through PLET, IPSO-Partner for the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman. Bitto Varghese, Laundry Division Manager of PLET, comments: “We can look back at a successful edition in terms of customer visits and trade enquiries. Our booth was strategically located at the prestigious new Za’abeel Hall, which attracted the visits of decision makers and key personnel from the industry. The design of the booth attracted compliments from customers and principals alike. PLET is participating for the 15th time in Gulfood and this has helped PLET to create a platform allowing close interaction with customers, exchanging market intelligence with suppliers and having a chance to know competitive companies, in addition to marketing and customer relationship management.”
